Rev. Msgr. Paul Albee, V.F. Pastor,
Msgr. Albee joined Holy Cross Parish in July, 2005. He was ordained in 1984 upon graduation from St. John’s Seminary and his home town is Sacramento, CA.
Rev. Steven Thoma, C.R. Auxillary Priest
Fr. Thoma is the Professor of Homiletics at St. John’s Seminary. He serves as a visiting priest at Holy Cross on weekends and Holy Days. He was ordained in 1991 upon graduation from Aquinas Institute of Theology in his home town of St. Louis, MO.
Deacon Trino Andrade
Deacon Andrade was ordained a Permanent Deacon in 1999. He and his wife Maria have been married since 1967 and have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 2004. They have two children and three grandchildren.
Deacon Kevin Mauch
Deacon Mauch was ordained a Permanent Deacon in June 2007. He and his wife Anita have been married since 1970 and have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1987. They have two children and two granddaughters.
Mrs. Jenny Stevens - Parish Business Manager
Mrs. Stevens has been our Parish Business Manager since 2005. She and her husband John have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1992. They have two children.
Mrs. Mary Lupe Ellis - Parish Secretary
Mrs. Ellis has been our Parish Secretary since Dec. 2008. She and her husband Mike have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1977. They have three children and one granddaughter.
Rev. Monsignor Joseph Cosgrove
Pastor Emeritus & Founding Pastor of Holy Cross
Golden Jubilee - 50 years of service to the people of God. On June 19, 2010, Msgr. Joseph Cosgrove celebrated the 5:00 pm Mass at Holy Cross and also celebrated the 50th Anniversary (to the day) of his ordination as a Catholic Priest. (click here for photos of the Mass and reception).
Msgr. Cosgrove was born in Galway, Ireland. He attended Saint Jarlath’s College and on June 19, 1960 he was ordained to the priesthood at All Hallows Seminary. In August 1960 he was assigned to the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, where he spent his entire career as a priest. He served at several other parishes before moving to Moorpark in 1981. Msgr. Cosgrove retired in 2005 and currently resides in Nevada.
Deacon Eduardo Castillo
Deacon Castillo was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose Gomez. He moved to the United States in 1986 from Zacatecas, Mexico. He met his wife, Lourdes, at Holy Cross when he wanted to join the Spanish choir, which she directed. Lourdes has lived in Moorpark all her life and has been a member of our parish since 1970. Deacon Pat Coulter
Deacon Coulter was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose Gomez. Pat and his wife Jerie moved to Moorpark and Holy Cross Parish in 2000 from Savannah, GA. They have been married over 50 years. Pat is a retired Marine Corps officer and also a recently retired Aerospace/Defense executive and Jerie, formerly with AT&T and Bank of America, is a homemaker and a very attentive “Nana” to six grandchildren. Deacon Derrel Craig
Deacon Craig was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose Gomez. Derrel and and his wife Marie have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1996 having moved to Moorpark from Texas that year. After thirty years of government service, which included ten years in the military and twenty years with the FBI, Derrel is now employed as a fraud investigator. Marie is self-employed. Deacon Dennis Fleming
Deacon Fleming was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose. Dennis and his wife Mary Linda have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1987. Dennis is a Senior Vice President with DirecTV Inc. in El Segundo, CA and Mary Linda is a surgical nurse with Westlake Eye Surgery Center in Westlake Village, CA. Deacon Michael Kromm
Deacon Kromm was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose Gomez. Michael and his wife Sandy have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 1984. Michael is a retired Marine Corps officer and currently the chief operating officer and chief compliance officer of an institutional investment management company in Beverly Hills, CA, and Sandy is a homemaker. Deacon Joseph Tumbarello
Deacon Tumbarello was ordained a Permanent Deacon in July 2011 by Archbishop Jose Gomez. Joe and his wife Anne have been members of Holy Cross Parish since 2000. Joe is an executive in the finance business. Dr. Anne is the Director of the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program at Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles. Rev. Msgr. Craig A. Cox, Rector, St. John’s Seminary
Msgr. Cox is a native of Los Angeles and an alumnus of St. John’s. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1978. He serves as a visiting priest at Holy Cross. Prior to returning to St. John’s and his current position, he served, for six years, as Vicar for Clergy of the Archdiocese of LA. Msgr. Cos is fluent in both English and Spanish. rector@stjohnsem.edu
